The Leadership In U.S. Has Fallen (lifestyle)

     What happen to the leaders of United States? What happened to giving the right advice? The past two years from the year 2015 have been very off. Everybody wants to know “what happened to America?” I might have an answer to your question. The government leaders are the reason America is a country of ice. The political leaders that control the U.S. are not focused on unity and mutual gains. They are focused on making more money and paying less for group development. Political leaders are also becoming cynical. Which is also an interesting word to describe the “American Dream.” In addition, the government does not advertise education and work ethic. They do not care about the images shown to the youth. The leaders of United States have fallen due to useless advertising, cynical desires, and focusing mainly on money. 

     America use to be a place where there was some form of unity. Lately, there has been no sense of unity in America. People argue about unimportant concepts. Everybody focuses on fashion and name brands because they are afraid to jump for their beliefs. The state of American consciousness is partly caused by U.S. government. The government has lead us away from the things that matter to us such as sanity and wisdom. American was once a country where people would read for fun. America was once a country where being the best only meant that you get a gold trophy. The government has almost destroyed the key concepts of being an American in United States. 

     The government is becoming cynical (Jin, p.554, 2009). I first heard of this belief while watching a Youtube about a students asking the government questions. The government did not answer the question of being cynical. Anyone who puts enough thought into the thinking process of political leaders, would believe that the government is becoming cynical (Jin, p. 554, 2009). Cynical means a person or group that do things to benefit themselves. The government has not done anything lately to benefit the public. The U.S. citizens have become more heartless as a result (Jin, p.554, 2009). The government say one thing and do another thing (Jin, p.554, 2009). We all know this but most of us like to pretend like there is nothing wrong. The government is now cynical. 

     To prove my cynical point of view, I will give you a few questions and concepts related. What has the government done in the past five years to benefit the public? The government did not make education more affordable for people who have low income or no income. The government does not provide reasonable shelters to homeless high school students (RT America, 2011). The shelters that the government provide do not keep kids off the streets until adult age (RT America, 2011). The job market has not gotten any better. In fact, the job market has gotten worse due to bad management of money by government leaders. The government does not promote places you can work or list reasons for getting more education. The government won’t even tell you the reason you need to think positive. The only thing the government does now is give people a loan to do business and a library. The government is suppose to provide leadership to the public, but their recent actions have caused the public more pain than leadership. 

     Politics lead America by thinking about money. The government has been paying a lot of attention to money lately (Hasen, p.991, 2013). Right now, government leaders are fighting over the amount of credit that is allowed to borrow for business (Hasen, p.991, 2013). They talk about ways that they can save more money for their own pockets (Hasen, p.991, 2013). Political leaders are trying to pass laws in order to make more money for themselves (Hasen, p.991, 2013). They worry about the pockets of their own before the pockets of the public (Hasen, p.991, 2013). Government leaders give speeches on cutting their own pay to benefit the public. However, the government has not made any actions to prove that statement. Right now, they are trying to gain a higher spending limit (Hasen, p.991, 2013). They haven’t been using the money for building more jobs or making beneficial uses for the public. So, why are they trying to gain a higher budget for spending? They want more money to play with. 

     If the money that the government is allowed to spend is not going towards the public, then the money is going towards selfish needs or pleasure. The government receives a more then fair salary so whatever money they want is for selfish reasons. Maybe they want to help other countries. Maybe they want to ignore the situation in United States. Maybe they want to ignore the fact that we are divided because of bad leadership. Maybe they want more money to ignore the fact that they do bad things to the people who work hard in United States to fill their own pleasure. I do not hate the government for everything. But, I will hate the government for making the job market a lot worse then it was seven years ago. I will hate the government for not doing what the government is suppose to do which is take care of its own people. American citizens should see the government as a good father not a bad one. 

     Americans need more then books of knowledge. Americans do not need religion that say words and do the opposite. Americans need leaders who show good behavior examples to the public. The government show cynical behaviors to the public and now people are becoming cynical. Americans do not need to become more cynical. We need to become more unified. This process is not easy. But, we can achieve this goal if we get rid of the people who cause problems. The government may have caused Americans to be cynical and have more financial problems then normal, but we can not let the government destroy this country. 

     Another reason leadership of United States has fallen is because of bad government advertising. Have you notice the ads on today’s television or Youtube website? It is all about money or scamming people. Why hasn’t the government done something about it? The government wants to make more money so they will allow anything on television to fly. There was a time the government use to filter what was being watched on T.V. and as a result the citizens of United States have become more respectable. Now, anything goes on T.V. except for porn which is not as bad as freedom of bad speech. The government ignore this problem because it seems like it’s not important. Well, this is very important because most people actually believe what they see on T.V. The government does nothing and just allow certain behaviors to be broadcast on T.V. Kids learn bad behaviors by watching certain bad behavior family shows. 

     The government also advertise “give money programs” which do not benefit the public. Have you seen the commercials? Please donate money to help the veterans with their medical problems which the government does not cover because war is not enough to pay the bill. Please donate money to Africa despite the fact that we live in country where high school students are homeless because of healthcare plans (RT America, 2011). Please donate money to the foundation or corporation that does not help people get jobs. But, it will help people who have money give meeting on important matters. The government has two faces. One face where it does little to help the public because of cynical beliefs. The other face is when the government asks for money to pay for something that does not benefit the public or cause the public to pay for useless things. The government advertises things that are not in the interests of its citizens. 

     Political leaders talk of education, but they do not talk about the use if education. The government has the power to do T.V. shows where people teach people why it is important to go to school after high school. However, no such T.V. show exist. The government has the power to teach people how to use knowledge to make money. But, no such T.V. show exist. The government has the power to teach people positive thinking leads to positive outcomes. But, no such T.V. show exist. The government has the power to teach Americans how to better take care of themselves on T.V. But, the government makes no such effort to accomplish that. Its a shame, we live in a country where the people who lead the country do not teach us anything that is useful for our family or well being. There comes a time when you have to pull the plug. Maybe American citizens need to pull the plug on the government leaders who do not do what they are suppose to do. Americans do not need government leaders who do things that are not important. There is nothing wrong with entertainment. But, entertainment is not the foundation which made America unified. Entertainment is for rest purposes. Entertainment is not for leading purposes. 

     The leaders of America have forgotten their purpose in society. They have become lost in their lust for money to the point where they can walk around homeless high school kids and do nothing. The government needs to be reminded that their purpose is not to entertain us with useless advertising. Their purpose is to take care of their own country. The government leaders must not forget this principle because the country is falling apart. We need to do something about it. Either we stop electing people who do nothing USA or we stop supporting the government completely. I am not trying to cause a second civil war in United States. I just want what everyone wants when they wake up in the morning. I want to wake up to a country where I feel unified and feel like my country takes care of me when I help it. I want leaders who do what is best for its citizens and not for selfish gains or other countries’ problems. I want the principle of “what your suppose to do in the given situation” to be the code Americans live by. I want to feel unified. I think I cried when I wrote those last few sentences because sometimes I don’t want to believe what I see. Kids committing bad behaviors for no reason. People acting cynical for no reason. People focusing on fashion and movie stars more than they focus on what is important for people living in United States. One day, things will change in America. The day when government leaders lose everything and realize what is really important.
