Module 2: Discussion Question

What is your home( as described in video)?
What do I love more than my self? The only thing I love more than myself is writing, drawing, eternal happiness, and music. I spend a lot of time making money and I find it very unsatisfying. I never seem to have enough money and sometimes I feel that money is more like a prison than a solution. When I draw or write something, I feel that I’m doing something that is more important than the money I have in my bank account. Money can not buy what I want because it does not last long enough.

B. Talk about your success and failures associated with your “home”?
I am very successful according to my home foundation. I write stories and I tell people about these stories. I draw and people comment on my drawings. The fact that people in this world know that I was trying to do something I wanted makes me feel very happy. However, my failures all seem to connect to the same thing. Most of my failures seem to connect to how much money I make and how many points I get on a piece of paper that does not grade fairly. If I think about it, my failures have nothing to do with my foundation.

C. What are your goals to help you continue to focus on your “home?
If I was to follow my home, I would follow these three goals. My first goal would be to not let money be my prison. If you have a hundred dollars, either you or somebody else is going to spend it. Next, I have to stop listening to everybody that gives me feedback. I have met two people in my life. People who believe me and people who don’t believe This means that if I want to truly be the best me, then I am going to have to listen to the right people. My last goal is to stop limiting myself to do something because I didn’t get enough approvals or enough points. I should be able to follow my “home” if I follow these three goals.
