Why do most people choose to procrastinate? There is a deep reason that causes people to push things off in their lives. There are ways to overcome procrastination. But, there is a connection between procrastination and perfection that prevents people from breaking the habit. There are many reasons to obstinate and each person is faced with the choice of being a procrastinator.
There are many reasons for a person to choose to procrastinate something that could be done. Some people choose to procrastinate to avoid doing things (KAMINSKI). For example, you have a big paper that is due in a week. You could have did it last weekend but you decided to do it on the weekend that it is due (KAMINSKI). You avoided doing something that was very important for your life because you feared failure or success (KAMINSKI). A person who is afraid of the results of an action can also be provoked to procrastinate (KAMINSKI). When you fear success or failure of a task, you do not try as hard as you should because you do not want to upset people (KAMINSKI). Success is good for you but it causes some people to hate you (KAMINSKI). Most people want everybody to like them so they try to remain average and procrastinate (KAMINSKI).
People wanting to belong to the majority of a given population is what causes them to procrastinate (KAMINSKI). If someone is an average person they will get along with most people in a certain area (KAMINSKI). The person will become a perfectionists and try to act like most people to belong to the majority of a population (KAMINSKI). When a person tries to do everything to please others is called a perfectionists (KAMINSKI). Procrastination and perfection relates to each other because when a person does not want to stand out they will often settle for average (KAMINSKI). Average is always popular to my most people in my personal opinion. Fear of not belonging to a large group of people is what causes people to become a perfectionists and procrastinate (KAMINSKI).
There are ways to not procrastinate and feel better about your self (KAMINSKI). One way to fix procrastination is to do thing tasks at random times (KAMINSKI). Each person has a hard time focusing and not procrastination because they follow the same routine (KAMINSKI). They also worry about failure so much to the point where they give up on themselves and try to just be average (KAMINSKI). So, you have to change the way you think about things to make your life and routine better (KAMINSKI). You have to stop worrying about success or failure so you can do the thing you want to do (KAMINSKI). In the end, the people that really support you will support you even if you are really successful or really a failure (KAMINSKI).
