.In the movie called “The Blind Side”, the main character is confronted with self-esteem issues. Mike is ashamed of his family and his gpa in high school. The reason Mike is ashamed of himself is mainly because people keep saying that he is useless. I face problems that are similar to mike’s problems. I am ashamed of the fact that people keep calling me a thug. I will admit i use to wear baggy clothes because I felt comfortable and liked the style. Some people want me to dress like a ice skater. I have decided to wear smaller clothes due to appearances for a job. But, people are now saying I am a thug because I cut my hair and my clothes are not as tight as ice skater clothes. I feel ashamed because I know that people hate me for being manly. I want to wear clothes that is a little bigger than me because I want my clothes to last longer and I feel comfortable in them. In general, I want to be myself and i need to overcome the idea that some people hate me for stupid reasons.
